Rainbow Trust is a fantastic charity providing vital practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Regional Family Support Workers provide care in the families' own homes for parents, siblings and the sick child from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond bereavement for as long as they are needed. This complements the much needed respite breaks offered to families at two Rainbow Houses in Surrey and Northumberland where families can relax and have fun together away from hospitals and treatment.
At any one time 10,000 families in England are facing the unimaginable prospect of losing a child and Rainbow Trust helps only 10% who need their support. The charity receives no government funding therefore every donation makes a real difference to the work they do and the families they care for.
Hamleys is proud to be supporting Rainbow Trust and plays a VITAL role helping them to raise funds and awareness!
